Comprised of two models, The District Detroit and the new arena, these are som'e of the largest and most complex models weve ever built. Thousands of hours, thousands of feet of ABS plastic and the dedication of the Zoyes East Inc. staff, along with our partners at Olympia Development and Stratasys Direct Manufacturing, made this all possible.
Both The District Detroit and the arena models are cutting-edge; composed mostly of 3D printed parts. Zoyes East Inc. is recognized as a leader in this use of 3D printing. This method of model building allows for high detail, low cost models of any shape and size. The neutral plastic created the perfect canvas for Olympia's amazing video projects to bring the model to life.
A massive project spanning 50 blocks of the city, The District Detroit will be home to premier entertainment facilities, world class dining and shopping. In addition to its world-class venues, The District Detroit will connect downtown and Midtown into a cohesive, walkable city, complete with a rail system along Woodward Avenue (M-1).
